About The Author
Shellie Williams began creating tales at the age of four when she explained to a neighbor how his Miniature Dachshunds flew over a six-foot fence. She has continued to explore the power of stories in her thirty-year career as an arts professional.
Shellie has worked as an art critic for a newspaper, published scholarly articles on art history, taught college-level art history, served as a museum curator, and as a strategic planning and marketing specialist for the arts. Today, she is the Deputy Director of a $4 million arts agency in Maryland where she has midwifed into existence three incredible websites: CreativeMoCo.com, DOandGO.org and MontgomeryTraditions.org. The last site marries Shellie's passion for stories, art and the artist's journey in one sumptuous virtual experience.
Shellie is delighted to be the newest member of the Rockville 8, Women who write. And laugh. Alot.
